NAACFRC’s Annual Community-Engaged Research Conference
Co-creating Research to Support Black Resistance and Joy

June 8, 2023 | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EDT | Hybrid
Morehouse School of Medicine
Atlanta, GA

The National African American Child and Family Research Center is designed to provide national leadership and excellence in community-engaged research to better serve African American children and families. This conference will highlight community-engaged research by community leaders and academicians in the areas of economic/social mobility, early care, and early education. It will explore the role and empowerment of community-engaged research, tactical successes, and programs that affirm, strengthen, and create positive outcomes for African American children and families’ (joy) often in the presence of unjust circumstances (resistance). While this is a hybrid conference, we truly encourage in-person attendance so that you can participate in the discussions and for ongoing conversation at networking opportunities.
